This bicycle lift from some Norway may be old hat for them, but totally blew our minds when we saw it earlier today. Picture a guided train track railing that you stick your foot on while you ride your bike that will guide you up a hill.

The entire idea is so brilliant that we’re now demanding that it be installed all over San Francisco in order to ease congestion (took us nearly an hour to get from one part to another thanks to the Cherry Blossom Festival). Check out the gallery to see all 130 meters of it in action. - Jason Chen

Big or small, functional or not, modern or medieval, we didn’t care. If it was somehow constructed with Legos, and looked like it was capable of taking down a three-foot rabbit weighed down by Easter baskets, we grabbed it. Rabbits that large are a menace to society and need to be taken out. Some actually shoot rubber bands (or fire), which makes them even better for whipping up a little rabbit stew.

I’ve seen worse ideas…

We’ve shown you quite a few lighting solutions to that problem of peeing in the dark before, but never have we seen one so simple that solves the problem so handily. Jonny Glow is a set of unpowered glow-in-the-dark strips that make it plain as day where your target lies, guys.

It’s a landing strip for your stream, and will cost you a mere $5.99. No more bright bathroom light waking you all the way up at night; these glowing strips let you get blessed relief while you stay half-asleep.
